I know the blog is supposed to be focused toward Bridger, but I did give birth to him.
I found out God has a sense of humor today. My first patients of the day were "THE TWINS". If I have to explain to anyone who "THE TWINS" are, then you haven't paid any attention over the last year and half.
I sent my nurse in and had her ask if they knew they were seeing me and if that was OK. Unfortunately, it was. So I made it through it and I even ended up helping my nurse give them their shots. They were ornery and left the room when she came in with the shots. I had no qualms getting after them and shooing them back in. I refused to put up with their nonsense and they got their shots. Overall, I was pleasant and friendly. Just like I was raised to be.
I did have my nurse go to the head scheduler and remove my name as their main provider. Will see if it works. I did discover that the parents of the twins maybe divorcing and they may be moving by the time school starts next fall. It couldn't even possible-who knows who would replace them, though. Weird how life is sometimes.
It is already Friday tomorrow. Hurrah!!! Bridger made it to swim lessons tonight. The kids in the group are closer in age than they have been before. A family from church we know has one son in Bridger's class. We sat and visited with them while the boys swam.
Sounds like we have plans to journey to Pinedale after I get off work tomorrow. Bridger doesn't start hockey until next week. It will be the last FREE weekend for awhile. When R/J left on Monday Bridger asked Rollie if he could come see his house sometime. I am sure it sounded odd, but it made me realize Bridger has finally got it in his head he has to be invited to someone's home. We did talk to him about Rollie and Judi's invitation for him to spend the week with them. He thought it sounded like a pretty good idea until we said the whole week. His response was priceless. "The WHOLE week, that is too long, maybe 3 days, but a WHOLE week, I don't think so." I still won't be cutting the apron strings, maybe at 18, but will see then. He didn't even like the idea of Darin and I having a couple of days in Jackson to ourselves and he stay in Pinedale. He told us in no uncertain terms we were being selfish not taking him. "He went everywhere we did". I will have to remember this when he doesn't want to spend any time with us as a teenager.
See I worked a Bridger story in. Have a good weekend. By the way, Rollie and Judi-are you going to be home this weekend?
