We were ready for some hockey this weekend. This was Bridger's first out of town tournament since he started back in October. We went to a tournament in Laramie. Bridger came home sick( upset tummy) on Friday, but went to a sleep over Friday night and birthday party on Sat before we headed to Laramie.
Darin and I went skiing Sat morning for a couple of hours. The wind was blowing and the vehicle temp gauge said 9 degrees up on top. We were pretty chilled by the time we headed back down. The snow was great though.
Bridger is #18 again this year. He played amazing defense and protected the goalie/goal every time he was on defense. I heard numerous comments from parents around me about what a good player is his.
Bridger scored one goal in the 2nd game they had today. The score of the game was 11-0. There were 14 kids on Bridger's team. It would have been nice if some of the kids who haven't scored could have scored. That game was fun to watch. I felt bad for the opponent goalie, but our kids just dominated on offense.
Bridger found a gaming buddy and the two of them got together between hockey games today in our room. We don't live too far from his family. They want to get together sometime soon.
Bridger has developed a liking for the Green Bay Packers. He told us last weekend that his plan for football playing includes, Jr high football at Dean Morgan, HS football at Natrona (NCHS) with Darin, the Sioux for college and then onto Green Bay. He had that all figured out himself. He was pestering for a Green Bay jersey and I found one on sale. He was hoping they would make it to the Super Bowl. If I already told this story from Xmas-sorry. But when we were talking about Green Bean casserole, he renamed it Green Bay casserole. He loves making the jabs at Darin about Green Bay. Darin told him if he actually made it all the way to playing for Green Bay he would become a fan of Green Bay. I am not for sure he could make that concession for Dallas.
Bridger Myers was born May 30, 2003 to Darin and Ginni Myers. He has been a busy little guy for a number of years and plans to continue his busy-ness.

Where did the weekend go?
We headed south but the snow was a little thin.
Do not leave your vehicles unlocked when you have a Myers boy in town.
Bridger is ready to head up the hill.
Bridger is routing for NY.
Just a quick update. Casper has powder. Bridger is having fun. And the Wyoming Myers are looking for the next adventure.
Come join us if you dare.

Nerf Gun
Bridger has added another gun to his nerf collection. This is quite the gun. It is automatic firing, has a bipod and a top shield. I think every time Bridger has had a sleep over I have been attacked. It is nice to know that he now has one that will shoot a high quantity rapidly.
Bridger is enjoying having company. He had his Grammy up early playing xbox this morning. Ginni and I leave tonight so he will have them all to himself.
Happy Friday the 13th.

Happy Birthday (a little late)
Here are a couple of old pictures I could find of Bridger and cousin Mikayla.
We are almost done with another work week. Grammy and Grandpa R made it here today. Bridger was happy to see them. He got armed with another nerf gun which I was welcomed home by a ralley of fire by both he and Grandpa R.
Bridger gets to spend time with his ND grandparents so his Mommy and Daddy get to go to Vegas.
He will have a fun weekend.
I hope everyone is doing well.

More Skiing
Big smile and rosy red cheeks.
Started out snowboarding.
Bridger and Gage, Casper in the background.
Taking a break.
We got another day of skiing in yesterday. Gage spent the night and then we met his family up on the mountain and skied together. Ginni met us in the afternoon and I finally had someone to ride the chairlift with.
They had a ski meet up there so it was busy. We stopped for a bathroom break and snack right when all of the racers were headed back to the hill. I got stuck saving the table for everyone so I told Bridger to get me something also and gave him money. The line was long and after 20 minutes the Porter's came back with all of their food and Bridger followed with his cheesy fries and nothing for me. So I then got to go wait in line to get something. Bridger was just excited to get his snack. I remember being that way at White Pine when I was a kid.
I hope everyone is having a good start to the new year.

First Day Of Skiing for the Year
What a beautiful winter day.
Bridger is cussing me right now for bringing him up here, but he did great.
We met up with one of his classmates, Ari.
Taking a break.
Happy Anniversary Jampa and Jammi.
Bridger and I had a great day of skiing. Ginni had to work again and could not join us. We did think of her often. Every time we snacked on the trail mix she made for us. It was a little windy but the sun was out and it was warm. Winter is a great season when you can play and enjoy it. The bad part of the day was when we got stuck on the chair lift for 20 minutes. It was at the end of the day and our last run. To make things worse I let Bridger watch a movie about some people who got stuck on a chair lift over night, you won't guess what was going through his head for 20 minutes. It all worked out and we are home safe.
If you live in the north make the most of the season. If you live in the south, hike up your pants and go for a walk.

Here We Go, It's 2012
Bridger enjoyed taking care of Elijah who is 18 months.
We found the fireworks.
The cold did not bother Bridger since there were fireworks.
Mommy and Son getting ready to ring in the new year.
The toast.
Bridger's is apple cider.
We had the Hoods over for New Year's Eve. He is Linnea's brother. Bridger enjoyed entertaining there son and was really good with him. Bridger also enjoyed being one of the adults when we got out the board games. We had a very nice evening but stayed up way past our bedtime.
I hope everyone had a great 2011 and has a wonderful 2012.
