52 Degree Golf

Bridger with a fairway shot.
Posing on the tee box.

I talked Bridger into going golfing yesterday.  It was 52 degrees but the rain had stopped.  One of the golf pros asked us if we were nuts when we were loading up the cart.  Bridger insisted on wearing shorts but it did not take him long to put his jacket on.  Ginni did not join us as she was coming back from Steamboat.

It was a busy weekend with football and hockey.  Bridger had a pre-season hockey camp Friday - Sunday.  He enjoyed it and skated great.

We have the big Oil Bowl game against KW this week.  It is the 50th.  I might get Bridger out golfing again since it is predicted to be in the 70's this weekend.

Have a good Monday.  I have used this quote but it fits.

"I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for quite awhile."

Weather Change

Bridger helped Ginni get the potatoes before ...
The snow came.  This was last Thursday's game.
We took one last boat ride for the season.  Bridger is on the bow.
Bridger walking from Dean to NC after school.

We had a nice weekend with Jammi and Jampa.  They made it over on Thursday for the snow storm.  It did warm back up to the 70's for the weekend.  They got to watch the freshman team lose by one in the snow and then the varsity win 61 - 3 Friday night.  I am running the d-line for varsity and they played great.  Bridger enjoyed his time with Jammi and Jampa and learning why I have a fear of boxes and dressers.

I hope everyone is having a good start to the week.

Here are a couple of pictures from last weekend.  We are already into the next weekend. Bridger started football this week.  It has only been conditioning so not real exciting.  My Freshman team won their first game tonight.  The defense played great.  I travel to Cheyenne East tomorrow.  They are the team we lost to last year in the championship by 1 point.  I am in charge of the D line and hope they play as well as last week.

Bridger has made it through his first week and seems to be enjoying JH.  I hope everyone is doing well and has a nice weekend.

First Day of Jr. High

Bridger ready for his first day as a Dean Morgan Comet.
Bridger's first football game.
Bridger's football game this past weekend, 1st row 20 yard line.

Bridger had his first day of school today.  He was going to walk down to NC after school but Ginni was able to pick him up.  I asked him how his first day of Jr. High went and he just said "ok".  He started football tonight.  He is still in midgets, he does not start JH football until 7th grade.  Football season is into full swing.

I hope everyone is enjoying the start of September.

"That would be good advice if you were somebody else."
