Happy Birthday Bridger!!

We had a nice Memorial Day weekend.  It was nice to have Jampa over for a couple of days.  Bridger  also enjoyed a BBQ and a movie with some friends.  It is hard to believe that our little boy is 14!  We still have a week and a half of school here in Casper so we are jealous of all of those that have started their summer.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mom's in our lives.  We love you.

Bridger Earlier This Year

 Bridger's first WYDOT id.  He had to get a state issued id for baseball.

Bridger had a "get together" last night with friends at sushi restaurant.  He was the only boy.  He impressed them by eating a bowl of wasabi.  I thought he might be hurting this morning but is not.  He went with three of them to a coffee shop afterwards were we picked him and one of the girls up.  They were sitting outside so we attempted to embarrass him by cranking up some rap music with the windows down when we pulled up.  Instead we were told that the girls said we were "legend parents" and others should follow our parenting 101.

I have decided to try to get the blog going again.  It is an easy way to keep everyone up to date with Bridger.  He had a great awards night at Dean Morgan. on Monday.  He ended up getting 4 awards.  The student mentor award, presidential academic award (the certificate is signed by President Trump), the science student of the year and the American Legion award.  The biggest one was the last one given for the night.  It is the most outstanding student.  The criteria is all of the things on the back side of the coin, last picture.  We were so proud of him.  

I just got called from Ginni that Bridger cut himself during cooking class and she had to stitch him up.  I will update everyone when I know more.  We might have to wrap this kid in bubble wrap.

We had a fun Birthday weekend in Denver.  We got a lot of activities in.  The one we did not get was a Rockies game.  Bridger had a blast and we had great family time.

Bridger's team got another win on Tuesday.  They are now 3 - 1.  The team is better than I thought.  Tuesday night Bridger hit an in the park home run.  It was the winning run as well.  It was a high ball and he drove it to the fence.  He was so excited.  He said his arms and legs were shaking when he crossed home plate because of the excitement.  We are headed to Denver for the weekend.  It is the 13 for Bridger.  I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day weekend.
